Battery 100%, Human Energy 2%

Today’s generation has one body part working overtime:

The thumb.

Morning starts with mobile.
Food comes with YouTube.
Bathroom comes with Instagram.
Before sleeping? “Just 5 minutes more” on reels that somehow become 2 hours.

And then people say:
“Yaar… tired lag raha hai.”

Of course it does.

Clinical experts now recommend strict screen time limits because our brains and bodies are not designed to stare at screens the whole day.

Recommended Screen Time:

  • Below 2 years: No screen time at all.
  • 2 to 5 years: Maximum 1 hour daily.
  • 6 to 12 years: Around 1 to 2 hours only.
  • Teens & Adults: Ideally not more than 2 hours of recreational screen time.

And no, office work and online classes are not included here.

Too much screen time can cause:

  • Poor sleep
  • Eye strain
  • Headaches
  • Low attention span
  • Mood swings
  • Mental exhaustion

Especially at night.

Your mobile screen secretly tells your brain:
“Don’t sleep yet… keep scrolling.”

One of the best habits experts suggest is the 20-20-20 Rule:

Every 20 minutes, look away from the screen for 20 seconds at something 20 feet away.

Simple. But helpful.

Another important habit:
No screens 30 to 60 minutes before sleeping.

Which honestly sounds impossible in 2026.

Maybe the biggest flex today is not having the latest iPhone.

Maybe it is being able to sit peacefully without touching your phone for one full hour.

Try it once.

If your hand automatically searches for your mobile after 3 minutes… congratulations.

You are officially a modern human.
